My Dearest One and Only, Boss
I had to share you with so many people... but Boss... honey, you were MY son too.
I hope that you always knew that and felt that from me.You were the sweet and innocent nine year old boy
that walked into my life when I married your dad and started my legacy into motherhood. You became
the only son that I would ever come to know and love..and I loved you so very much.
I loved to see you, the big strapping son, coming up to your dad and planting a kiss right on the mouth
You were always such an affectionate little boy and man.
I laugh at those times that you would come home and give me a big hug and occasionally even pick me up.
You made me smile and feel light as air.
I loved to watch you play with your little sisters. They loved youso much.
It brought me joy to know that they had a big brother to watch over them.
So many times you made me laugh when you were a child with all the boyhood mischiefness .
You kept me on my toes with one eye open at all times.
You taught me to love in ways that I never knew before. You showed me the kind of love that tests
you and then rewards you. That challenges you and then makes you laugh really hard ... sometimes...
even cry.
You were MY son too and you always will be
Maybe not in birth but our souls were destined to meet.
You made me laugh
You made me cry
You made me worry
You made me proud
You stole my heart
You gave me love
and then you said... goodbye
You let me feel the love of a son, the only son that I would ever come to know
and love in return.

Boss I love, and miss you soo much!
You never knew it, but I looked up to you in so many ways. You had a huge part in why I was, and still am such a “tom-boy”. I always thought you were so cool, so funny, so strong, and wanted to be just like you. I admired how athletic, funny, and loving you were, and strived to be the same way.
You taught me to play basketball and I fell in love with the sport, kicking all the boys’ butts at recess! I remember when Becca and I were little, you chasing us around the house with the Jason mask as we screamed for our lives. Terrifying, but so much fun!
I thought you were so cool that I even brought you in for show-’n-tell in 3rd grade. I remember having your high school basketball poster set up and introducing you to the class. Everyone thought you were a superstar professional basketball player, and rushed you for your autograph. That was so funny! I still can’t believe that you actually agreed to do that! That just shows how you were always there for us!
You were the best big brother! I will always keep you in my heart! I love you so much Boss! Rest in Peace
